Music has always played a large part in the life of the
school and some of the Students have gone on to make a name for
themselves in the music world. Over the many years Miss Joan
Mitchell ruled in the Music room the sound of 'Mitch's Singers'
rang out before school, recess, lunch, and after school. These
singers, together with the instrumentalists had considerable
success in festivals and eisteddfods. For many students the
Musicals were the highlight of the school year.
